The Resorts of Tullymore & St. Ives are happy to announce that Tullymore Golf Club has been awarded Golf Digest's highest rating, the prestigious 5 Stars, for 2009.

Two years earlier, Tullymore made its debut as #83 on Golf Digest's list of Top 100 Greatest of All Courses in America.

Tullymore’s banner years began in 2002 when it was recognized by two major golf publications. Golf Magazine named it one of the Top 100 Courses in the U.S. You Can Play and Golf Digest named Tullymore No. 1 New Upscale Public Golf Course in the U.S.

Tullymore is only the second course in Michigan to receive a No. 1 rating in the 20-year history of the Golf Digest contest for the Best New Courses.

In the year 2000, just 16 North American golf courses were honored with 5 Stars by Golf Digest and St. Ives Golf Club was one of them. That year it joined Bay Harbor as the only Michigan golf courses to ever receive this heralded honor and acclaim; now Tullymore is among their ranks.
